At Wind Hout we can process Your wood to provide better fire protection. The higher fire class of wood can be achieved through a fire-retardant treatment. After the fire-retardant treatment, the fire class is B. Without this treatment, the fire class of wood is D-s2, d0. Fire retardant treatments can consist of industrial impregnation of the wood or a surface treatment that creates a protective layer on the surface of the wood. Improved fire safety properties allow exposed wood to be used to a greater extent as a surface coating on interior walls and ceilings, as well as on facades.
