This is the autoclave method, in which natural linseed oil is heated to +65 C and is inserted into the wood via vacuum. When cooling down, the linseed oil adheres to the pores in the wood and forms a waterproof, protective film. This process ensures the decking boards or cladding with fixed form, dark brown chestnut shade, UV protection, waterproof properties, and protection against wood rot fungus.
The autoclave method processes the timber with hot linseed oil from all sides and the dark brown shade is lasting. The advantages of vacuum pressure methods are that they are thorough and fast. This impregnation is possible for all wooden products and for different type of wood (spruce, pine, hardwood, heat-treated wood, Siberian larch, tropical wood, etc.). Despite the type of wood, all unprotected wood eventually turns gray due to sunlight, and microscopic fractures and damage can also occur. One possibility to avoid this is a hot oil impregnation.
